Role and Responsibilities: The Warehouse Order Selector position is physically intensive and focuses on building accurate pallets for bulk, route, and transport trucks. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading, maintaining order accuracy, and ensuring warehouse safety. The role requires operating forklifts or electronic pallet jacks while working with electronic or printed order systems. • Assemble pallets for bulk, route, and transport trucks • Operate forklifts and electronic pallet jacks to move and stage product loads • Process orders using electronic systems or printed order sheets • Verify order accuracy and maintain documentation • Follow warehouse procedures for load building and staging • Unload raw materials and place them in assigned areas • Load transport trucks with completed pallets and handle returned items • Select and stack products for bulk loading, shrink-wrap, and stage for delivery • Customize route truck loads according to salesperson instructions • Unload returned products and packaging materials • Lift cases weighing 20–45 lbs repeatedly during long shifts • Engage in continuous standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping • Maintain cleanliness and promote a safe working environment Primary Job Accountabilities: • Operate power pallet jacks or forklifts to pick and build loads according to load sheets or voice-pick systems • Mark load tickets for items that are out of stock • Wrap and secure pallets for delivery • Submit paperwork for order checks and truck inspections prior to loading
