In this role, you’ll manage incoming and outgoing calls, assist patients and visitors, and support essential hospital operations through communication and clerical duties. You’ll also play a key role in emergency response communication and daily reporting processes. We value professionalism, strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Key Responsibilities • Operate the hospital telephone system, managing incoming, outgoing, interoffice, and interdepartmental calls • Initiate and relay emergency codes as required • Create and maintain the daily EMTALA Call List • Perform cashiering functions and basic clerical duties • Greet patients, visitors, and staff, directing them appropriately • Support department leadership with assigned tasks Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with hospital staff, departments, and leadership to ensure effective communication and a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and team members. Qualifications • High school graduate or equivalent • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English • Knowledge of office organization and basic clerical skills • Experience with computer systems and PC Windows software • Experience with telephone systems and cashiering functions preferred • One year of experience as a telephone operator, receptionist, or related role preferred • Strong customer service skills required • Ability to work independently wi
