Supervisory Social Science Program Coordinator

The major duties of this position include but are not limited to: Develops and implements solutions to work problems presented by subordinates. Performs safety reviews and provides information through written and/or verbal reports. Provides advice, counsel or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. Responsible for continuous program oversight of both personnel and equipment failure that may inhibit the successful operation. Assists in developing detailed plans, goals and objectives for the day to day operation. Utilizes analytical data reports to help determine short and long-range scheduling or staffing requirements. Implements changes to work schedules, as needed, to ensure appropriate coverage of all business lines including phones, chat and text. Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures for the department. Uses skills and is proficient in applying clinical principles, concepts and techniques crucial to patient care. Monitors adherence to VHA regulations, policies and procedures and program guidelines set by external regulatory agencies such as the American Association of Suicidology (AAS). Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: To Be Determined, will work overnights as well as weekends, and holidays, as needed.
