In this role, you’ll provide a visible security presence throughout the hospital and surrounding facilities, respond quickly and effectively to emergency and non-emergency situations, assist staff and visitors when needed, and document incidents that occur on hospital property. Key Responsibilities • Safeguard employees, patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital property. • Provide a visible deterrence to crime and prohibited or suspicious activity in public and non-public areas, including the main hospital, outlying buildings, grounds, parking areas, stairways, mechanical areas, and patient treatment areas. • Respond quickly and effectively to emergency and non-emergency situations. • Work with law enforcement in the investigation and resolution of incidents occurring on hospital property or involving hospital employees. • Escort individuals and assist staff when necessary. • Remain alert to behaviors or activities that could result in personal injury, property damage, or property loss. • Complete detailed written reports regarding incidents occurring on hospital property or involving hospital staff.
