Job Description

Johnson VA Health Care System is a tertiary care teaching hospital providing the highest-level quality complex care (1A) with services ranging from cardio-thoracic and neurosurgery to primary and mental health care. We have a transplant program, surgical robotics unit, and medical research program for approximately 80,000 Veterans along the South Carolina and Georgia Coast. This health care system includes a full range of inpatient and outpatient care, medical and surgical intensive care, and a state-of-the-art 3D printing facility. The Ralph H. Interpretation of diagnostic studies: Computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR), X Ray and Ultrasound (US). Remainder of interpretations will be general imaging studies. Act as imaging consultants to clinical services/sections. Direct the activities of Medical Support Assistants, technologists, and nurses. Consulting on the administration of medications, including contrast agents, by technologists and/or nurses. Ideal candidate will be well trained, highly qualified and equally motivated diagnostic radiologist who possess appropriate skills and ability to interpret a wide range of diagnostic studies.
