Job Description
This vacancy announcement will be open from May 13, 2026 to May 19, 2026 or when 25 applications have been received. The vacancy will close on whichever day the first of these conditions are met. The volunteer will serve as a Legal Curriculum & Content Developer to assist in the modernization of training for federal law enforcement personnel. All research, scriptwriting, and content development will be conducted under the direct supervision and technical guidance of experienced attorney instructors within the Legal Instruction Unit to ensure legal accuracy and strict adherence to Department policy. Key responsibilities include: • Utilizing Generative AI platforms to assist in professional script development and content storyboarding for Criminal Law and Law Enforcement Use of Force training modules. • Designing high-fidelity eLearning content to create realistic legal and security scenarios. • Assisting in the research and drafting of instructional content including International Law and its application to global security operations. • The project is designed to deliver usable, modernized training assets within a single academic term.
