Part-time & Seasonal Gym Attendant/Recreation Leader I - P/T PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT Part-time position responsible for front desk operations. Assists in planning and organizing recreation activities, leads recreation activities, performs support services and does related work as required. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED The Administrative Analyst provides general supervision. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Conducts a general program of recreation at an assigned area. • Develops and plans activities in a specialized program area. • Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies. • Inspects facilities and materials for recreation activities and special events. • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of: • Basic Recreation activities and their rules. • Telephone etiquette. • Basic Arithmetic calculations. • Cash handling experience preferred • Proof of minimum age of 16 years, must be prepared to get work permit from school if in High School. • First Aide and safety practices and procedure, desired.
