FIREFIGHTER (BLS/HAZMAT TECHNICIAN)

You will administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillation (AED) for a patient. You will analyze the structural condition of a building to determine firefighting equipment and apparatus required to fight fire. You will inspect fire extinguishers to verify they are fully operational and meet all regulatory requirements. You will collect initial hazardous materials response information from hazardous materials safety data sheets, United Nations/North American (UN/NA) identification numbers, or placards.
