Door-to-Door Fiber Sales Representative

Commission-only door-to-door sales of Frontier fiber in Ridgecrest, California and surrounding areas including Olde Towne, Ridgecrest Heights, China Lake Acres, and Inyokern. Frontier's own FCC filing (FCC Broadband Data Collection, December 2025 filing) shows Frontier service in Ridgecrest. Availability is per address. Ridgecrest anchors the Indian Wells Valley: the city's own page calls it a shopping hub for more than 40,000 people, and Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake sits partly inside city limits. Housing is 68.5% single-family detached with 41.2% of occupied homes rented, so a rep works houses and apartments alike, checks each address, and wraps up by 7 p.m., when the city's itinerant-vendor rules end the business day. Do I need a permit to knock doors in Ridgecrest? Ridgecrest's Municipal Code treats anyone who sells goods or services without a fixed place of business in the city as an itinerant vendor (chapter 9, article VIII, section 9-268). Section 9-269 requires a city business license before any commercial activity, a city-issued badge, at the applicant's cost, showing your photograph, your name and the name, address and phone number of the company you represent, and business only until 7:00 p.m. A first violation is an infraction (9-267). Separately, section 10-35 bars leaving handbills at homes posted "No Trespassing," "No Peddlers or Agents" or "No Advertisement," or where someone asks you not to.
