Behavior Technician

Responsibilities • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence. • Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols tailored to each client’s individualized care plan. • Support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders through direct behavioral therapy. • Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior management reports, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency in care and therapy goals. • Participate in training sessions on special education strategies, behavior management techniques, and ethical standards for behavior analysts. Qualifications • Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially within home-based or school settings. • Knowledge of behavioral health principles, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies. • Ability to assist with ADLs and support client independence through positive reinforcement techniques. • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance requirements. • Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. • Experience working with individuals on t
