Archeological Technician (1039 Temporary)

Researches files and records to obtain information about sites scheduled for cultural inventories. Reviews reference material to aid in identification of artifacts recovered during inventories. Plans and carries out non-complex cultural resource field inventories. Determines inventory methods to use, identifies area to be inventoried, schedules inventory, and arranges for equipment, supplies and transportation. Prepares statements of work for non-complex cultural resource field inventories. Monitors contractor performance recommending modification of contract to account for new circumstances.
