If the application limit is reached on the same day the announcement opened, the open and close date will be the same. Candidates are encouraged to read the entire announcement before submitting their application packages. Students will conduct data compilation, statistical analysis, and program support activities related to sign language interpreting services, communication access, and operational delivery models. Specific areas of focus include scheduling workflows, demand trend analysis, and application of Demand Control Schema principles to assess workload, cognitive demand, and service effectiveness. This project also highlights a key operational consideration. While data compilation tasks can be supported by general administrative personnel, the analytical component requires functional knowledge of interpreting and CART service delivery. The application of Demand Control Schema, evaluation of interpreter workload, and interpretation of scheduling and demand data require subject matter familiarity to ensure accurate, defensible, and operationally sound outcomes. This project is intentionally structured to develop and apply that level of specialization in a controlled and measurable way. Students will be expected to synthesize their work into structured deliverables and present findings and recommendations to Department management. This ensures the work produces usable outcomes and reinforces accountability, communication skills, and alignment with mission priorities. This approach allows us to generate usable data products, evaluate scheduling efficiency, strengthen internal processes, and expose emerging talent to real-world accessibility operations without introducing risk to ongoing activities. It also supports Administration priorities by strengthening workforce pipelines, improving operational efficiency, and reinforcing mission effectiveness through data-informed decision-making.
