Ridgecrest Freedom Fest 2024: It’s Party Time!

Hey Ridgecrest, July 4th is happening early this year. Get ready for the ultimate celebration of independence! We’re talking fireworks, DJs, food, drinks, and a whole lot of fun at the Ridgecrest Freedom Fest. It’s all going down on Saturday, June 29, at the Fairgrounds (520 S Richmond Rd).

Here's the Scoop:

🗓 When: Saturday, June 29
⏰ Time: 6:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Gates open at 6:30 PM; the show starts at 9:00 PM)
📍 Where: Fairgrounds, 520 S Richmond Rd
🎟️ Admission: Snatch your tickets now and save! Presale online is only $5 per person. General admission is $7 per person. Kids 9 years and older need a ticket to enter.

What’s Happening:

🎆 Fireworks Show: Boom! Join us in singing the national anthem to launch off the firework show at 9:00 PM, it'll lasts ~20 minutes. Expect a grand finale that'll blow your mind.

🎧 Live Entertainment: DJs spinning the hottest tracks and fire spinners lighting up the night.

🍔 Food & Drinks: Feast on tasty treats from local vendors and sip on some refreshing drinks. (No outside alcohol allowed, though!)

🎟 Raffles: Five chances to win $200! Times: 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, 9:30 PM, 10:00 PM, and 10:30 PM.

👶 Kid-Friendly Fun: We’ve got a waterslide and more for the little ones.

🌽 Cornhole Contest: Compete for prizes

1st place: $250 | 2nd place: $150 | 3rd place: $100

Pro Tips:

• Bring your chairs, blankets, and shade (take down the shade once it gets dark).
• No weapons allowed (we’ll be checking).
• Leave the booze at home (we’ll be checking that too).
• Smoking and vaping? Not inside the event—head to the parking lot for that.
• Pets? Sorry, they gotta stay home. Service dogs are cool, though.
